Help with our goal! More observations needed.

Help us find more wildlife than last year's City Nature Challenge in the Charlottesville Region. All iNat observations made in Albemarle, Charlottesville, Nelson, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Orange counties will automatically count in the Challenge.

We're almost half-way through the challenge and observations are rolling in. Here's how many MORE we need to reach our goal and top last year's record. Will you spread the word and help us?
• 25% of our goal accomplished: 2,323 more wildlife observations needed
• 43% of our goal accomplished: 486 more species needed
• 38% of our goal accomplished: 144 more people making observations needed

I hope you'll get outside this evening through Monday and snap photos in iNat of that ant on the sidewalk (it counts!) or that dandelion in your yard (it counts!) or the fly on your vehicle (it counts!). The more wild plants and animals you observe, the better!
