Make 10 more iNat observations today! (or more)

The Charlottesville Region (Albemarle, Charlottesville, Nelson, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Orange) is still in the running to top last years wildlife observations, but we need your help. I'm tagging you in this post because you've already made 1 or 2 observations. Thank you!!

If each of you can make 10 more observations today, you'd put us past the 50% mark of our goal. Right now (9:02 a.m. Sunday) we're only 36% of our goal. The Challenge is today and tomorrow and we want to top 3,116 wildlife observations.

Can you help us get your friends involved? We need over 100 more people to make observations today and tomorrow.

Our window of opportunity to tackle biodiversity loss is now and The Nature Conservancy has ambitious goals, but we need to work together. How do we prioritize biodiversity for the health of our environment, food supply, and economies if we don’t know what species live where? This is where you come in! By participating in this Challenge you can contribute to scientific data....AND learn about the natural world around you.
