In the ongoing battle to persuade the neighbours cats that they might find it easier to go elsewhere, I have built a couple of wire-netting gates about 1.6m high. And added a .6m high wire-netting fence on top of the adjacent wall. This animation show a cat climbing "hand-over-hand" using its claws to grip the wire-netting. After getting to the top and tentatively trying a nearby branch it ends up clinging to the top of the wire-netting fence. Unfortunately my recording timed-out at this point so I don't know whether it succeeded :-)

(This is recorded in infra red because the camera switches to infrared when it detects low light levels)
